New to my table? Here is the whole road at a glance. Two meetings come before your first real session — a private one-on-one with me, then a free Session Zero with your whole party — and every quest below gets you ready for one of them.
Check things off as you go. Your progress is saved in this browser, so you can come back any time.

Join Your Campaign
Every adventure starts the same way: with a name on the roster. One quest here, and it unlocks all the rest.
- Your campaign decides everything that follows — your party, your weekly time, even which virtual tabletop you'll learn. Browse the open adventures or my StartPlaying profile and book the seat that calls to you.
Before Your One-on-One
Before your first session, you and I meet privately: we get to know each other, finish your character together on the virtual tabletop, and run a full tech check. These quests make sure we spend that meeting adventuring, not troubleshooting.
- Discord is where table life happens — session links, scheduling, every question between games — and it's how I'll reach you about your one-on-one, so say hello early. Username: zeldaharvestmoon. Open my profile to send a friend request, or
- This is the meeting every quest in this chapter leads to — where your character gets finished, your questions get answered, and your tech gets proven. Pick a time on the scheduler: it shows my live availability in your own timezone, and booking early gives the rest of this list a friendly deadline.
- My tables stay welcoming because everyone at them has agreed on what welcoming means — reading it is how you join that pact. Quick read, big payoff.
- This is the safety tool that keeps the story comfortable for the whole party. Learn how it works now — you'll submit your own before Session Zero, and that's far easier once the idea is familiar.
- Installing ahead of time means your one-on-one is spent rolling dice and touring the game world, not watching download bars — and if the install puts up a fight, we have time to slay it together. Fantasy Grounds Unity for most campaigns, Foundry VTT for others; your game listing says which, and the Tech section walks you through it.
- There's no finished-hero requirement — we complete your character together at the one-on-one — but the more you bring, the further we can take it. A concept, a species, a class, even a half-filled sheet all count. Start with the creation guidelines.
Before Session Zero
Session Zero is free, and the whole party attends: we set expectations, agree on boundaries, and start turning a list of strangers into an adventuring company. These last quests make sure the campaign is shaped with your voice in it.
- Session Zero exists so nobody starts play confused — and when you ask at the table, the whole party learns with you. Skim the full FAQ first, then bring everything it didn't cover.
- This is how I build a story that never wanders where it shouldn't — your boundaries get woven into the campaign before it begins. Submitted privately, respected without question, never discussed at the table.
- Backstories are where personal quests, rivals, and plot twists come from — the more you give me, the more the campaign becomes about your character. The Backstory Builder assembles one for you piece by piece; the finished version is due before Session One.
- The rest of the party plans their week around this slot — confirming yours locks in your seat and keeps the whole table's rhythm. Same day, same time, every week.
- We proved everything works at your one-on-one; this last pre-flight — VTT opens, dice roll, voice comes through — lets Session One begin with adventure instead of troubleshooting. You are ready.
All Checked? Roll for Initiative!
That is the whole road walked. The only thing left is the part where the adventure starts.
