The Taproom Crossword

One grid, chalked on the tavern wall. Everyone solves it together.

An original puzzle for anyone passing through — no bookings, no spoilers, and no knowledge required beyond a fondness for the game. Pick a persona below and start scribbling.

This board is shared. Everyone reading this page writes on the same grid, live — friends, strangers, possibly a very literate mimic. Every persona inks in its own colour, and the board remembers every letter between visits. Want a private board for just your group? Add ?room=yourgroupname to the address and share that link.

Answers of more than one word include a blank box for the space, exactly like the printed puzzles; the cursor simply skips across it. My campaign tables get their own private issues of the Herald, so nothing here spoils anything anywhere.

Who are you today?

Huzzah! The grid is complete.

Every box answered, every clue laid to rest — a joint effort of everyone whose colours you see up there. The barkeep is genuinely impressed and has chalked up a fresh round of imaginary drinks, on the house.

The grid resets whenever the tavern repaints the wall. If solving with strangers was this fun, imagine four hours of it — the open tables are right this way.
